A fantastic sport for building confidence in your Rescue Dog!

The purpose of the Canadian Disc Dog Association is to promote the sport of disc dog in Canada .  To promote the sport, handlers are encouraged to train and compete with their dogs for titles and prizes.  Titles can be earned by demonstrating proficiency in the sport of disc dog at sanctioned competitions. The Canadian Disc Dog Association is the regulating body for the sport of disc dog in Canada .  Disc Dog is the sport in which dogs catch flying discs (Frisbees ®). 

Mission Statement: It is the goal of SODH to promote the sport of canine disc through the hosting of disc competitions, workshops, and play dates, while always keeping the safety and enjoyment of both canine and handler in focus. SODH promotes sportsmanship and camaraderie between players, and welcomes players of all skill levels. SODH respects the individual goals of its members, whether you are playing for fun or for competition; and has an appreciation for all dogs taking part in the sport of canine disc.

The Hyperflite Skyhoundz Canine disc Championships is a series of more than 100 Local Championships, eight (U.S.) Regional Qualifier Championships, an ever growing number of International Qualifiers, and the World Championship.

Hyperflite’s sponsorship of the Skyhoundz Canine Disc World Championship series, the largest disc-dog series in the world, ensures that disc dog competitors, worldwide, will have exciting venues in which to compete.
Local Championships Hyperflite Skyhoundz Local Championships are free events, open to all competitors regardless of experience. You are welcome to enter as many Hyperflite Skyhoundz Local Championships as you like.

 We don't go after obedience directly, we believe that a better path to obedience is through Canine Interaction. With a few simple concepts in mind, we create situations to help our dogs make good decisions. We believe that helping our dogs make good decisions provides a better education than making their decisions for them.
About Pam Martin, the owner of Top Dog Obedience Training School of Garland, Texas and a multi-sport dog trainer, competitor, and performer.  Pam has been training dogs professionally for over 30 years.  With obedience being the foundation, Pam has trained her dogs to the top levels of Flyball and Canine Frisbee, recently adding Freestyle Dancing to her list of favorite dog sports.  Pam recently toured with Purina's  Pro Plan Performance Team. She has been featured on Animal Planet’s “Pet Star” and “The Competition”, ESPN Great Outdoor Games, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and Purina’s Incredible Dog Challenge.   Most recently Pam & Pilot were guest on the Martha Stewart Show where they performed Canine Freestyle (dancing with dogs).

She has conducted training seminars as far away as Mexico, Brazil and Japan.
